The cabin and porch reach out toward the rushing creek which provides soothing sounds as we relax on the porch and for peaceful sleeping, though at 3400 ft. elevation you may have to use quilts to keep warm on the cool summer nights if sleeping with the windows open to hear the creek.
Rustic, but with comforts of home.
My buddy Ed and I did the interior construction including walls, floors, trim, hearth and carved mantle. Ten foot ceilings offer plenty of room for our fly rods.
We also finished the loft including bedroom and bath. With Ed and my brother David we built the deck looking out over the creek. We accomplished this in spite of taking lots of time out for excursions on our two creeks in search of native brook, rainbow and brown trout.
Cozy bedrooms with white pine paneling offer respite after a day of wading the creek in search of trout.
